Behold God is doing a new thing. This is a new season. If God spoke it, He is already doing it. It is a journey that we are going through. God is ordering our steps and our way. In a new season, we cannot go into it with old thinking and mindsets. Our mindsets must be transformed. The battle is always in the mind. God is a spirit and we must worship Him in spirit and in truth. The spirit and the flesh are always at war. Therefore, our minds must be in alignment with the spirit of God.

From the fall of Adam, the devil has programmed humans to operate from their mind. The mind then needs to be transformed and renewed daily. Whatever our mind thinks, affects our attitudes and our attitudes affect our actions. Unfortunately we have given our minds authority instead of the Holy Spirit.

In the beginning after man was created, God blessed them. To bless means to empower. God empowered man. Whatever God has created us to do; He will empower us to do it.  However, there are times that people speak negative words to us regarding our purpose. Don’t believe what they say. Don’t repeat what they say. We were born to do our purpose. If God tells us to do something, just say yes. After God blessed man, He told them to be. He called us human beings.

The spirit of the Pharisee is still in the Church. Tongues do not signify power. We can speak in tongues and yet still be living a powerless life. God is about the outpouring. This is the time where we are growing up. It is a requirement that we grow. However, we must examine our previous years and conventions. Are we walking in the topics of those previous conventions? Have we crossed the water or are we still living in the old?

When Elijah ascended to heaven, Elisha saw him and he received the double portion. Elisha positioned himself to see Elijah. We have to position ourselves for the greater. Positioning is not a geographical location.

Am I ready for the new thing? This is the question that we must ask ourselves. This new thing comes in a season and time. In Ecclesiastes 3, we see that there is a time and season for every purpose. There is a journey that we must go through in life. Life is a journey. Life is a process. Therefore when we are at church, we come to learn and then go out to continue this journey according to God’s will. We get an embassy briefing every Sunday for our instructions during the week.

During the time between the womb and the tomb, we discover that we have a purpose. The Holy Spirit then leads and guides us to fulfill this purpose. However, we have to be connected to the Holy Spirit. We do not fulfill our purpose in a day. Our purpose is fulfilled in seasons. Sometimes we want things to happen fast but that is not God’s way.

In various seasons, God reveals what we are called to do. However, this may not be our final call. We are still on a journey. God reveals things to us in various seasons. From the womb to the tomb, we must ensure that we maximize purpose. In order for us to maximize purpose, we must believe what God said. We must let His word cut away the things in our lives that are not of Him.

Gethsemane means the place of crushing. Sometimes we go through a crushing to get to our deepest and greatest part in our life. When an angel appears in your life, a new season has begun. It is not enough to be spirit led but to be spirit controlled. Be renewed in your mind by the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 4:22-23).
