The Synergetic Dynamic of Successful Leaders – Prophet Dwayne Howard

The Greek word “sunergeo” is referred to 5 times in the New Testament. This word means to go forth, power together with and thereby to assist, to work together, to help in work and to be a partner in labour

Contribution
The first trait of a synergetic leader is to be one who contributes. Jesus contributes to the lives of others. He came to set the captive free and to heal the broken hearted. He brought the good news to those around Him (Matthew 4:23-24).

When we understand our call, we are able to bring forth creative strategies for breakthrough. There are divine strategies being released to us. Jesus brought healing for tangible issues and liberty to those in chains (Luke 8:26-39). He carried incredible worth. We carry incredible worth and therefore we cannot question if we are worth enough. Everyone has something to bring to the table. We declare that the spirit of fear is broken over us and we will step out into all God has called us to be.

Jesus even contributed after He was caught up in heaven (Mark 16:19-20). He continued the work He started by making intercession for us and working with us as He sits at the right hand of the Father. The Father is also a contributor. In the Trinity, we see how each plays a role in contributing to our lives. The Son gives us all authority for demonstration (Luke 10:19) while the Spirit gives us all access to the revelation (1 Corinthians 2:10-12).

Confidence
Jesus carried confidence and imparted it to His disciples. The key word here is knowing (oida) which means to have an understanding or to be able to see (visualize), be acquainted with honour and recognize. It’s important that we don’t keep information in our heads and we become puffed up.

We must be confident in the truth that Jesus said that He would build His church. He said that He will build us and nothing will prevail against us. When we accept and believe this truth, we would not walk with our heads down in despair.

Clarity
Jesus’ ambition was to glorify the Father (John 17:1-3). He directed His disciples to God by what He said and did. He is the way, the truth and the light (John 14:5-6).

Leadership is not about fulfilling the goals but also about developing those who follow you. It is about leaving a legacy. Leadership is being transformed by the things we like and we don’t like. There will be tension among us but we cannot jump out of the relationship because someone step on our toes. Tension works for us and brings growth. It is going above the person you were yesterday.
