Because the nature of God dwells in us, there is a longing in our spirit to experience God in another dimension. “Supernatural” refers to that which is unexplainable by natural law or phenomenon.

Isa.9: 6 “For unto us a child is born . . . Of the increase of his government and peace there shall no end.” Jesus was the divine person, fully man and fully God. On earth, He functioned as man, so He had to pray and fast. Everything that God created is subject to God’s kingdom except our will. We can choose whether we want to serve Him or not. Whatever is afflicting mankind, the kingdom of God has come to bring liberation.

Matt 4:23 “And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues. . .and healing all kinds of sickness. . .” Jesus had a threefold ministry: he preached, taught and healed.

Matt 12:28 “But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, surely the kingdom of God has come upon you.”

There are three kingdoms that we must understand if we are to understand God’s kingdom:

1. The kingdom of this world where men rule over other people and their own
lives. NB God never intended man to have domination or control over
others though.
2. The kingdom of darkness.
3. The kingdom of God. If we do not realise that God has dominion over us,
we will think that others are our servants.

Rev. 11:15 “The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ and He shall reign forever and ever!” There is a penalty for sin in the present kingdom, but in the future one there is power which overcomes this sin.

Matt. 4:8 & 9 Satan tempts Jesus, illustrating that there are kingdoms in this world. The kingdoms in this world themselves are not evil, but it is what man does with them that makes them evil.

James 4: 4 “Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God?” You cannot be a friend of the world, as it has its own value system. If we are deficient of God’s presence in our lives, then we cannot have what His kingdom offers. One’s title does not guarantee performance or efficiency.

The second kingdom is the kingdom of darkness or Satan’s kingdom. Eph.6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood. We are in constant warfare against the things of this world as well as the things of the kingdom of darkness.

Col. 1:13 “He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed unto us the kingdom of the Son of His love. . .”

Often, when we come into God’s kingdom, we need to be delivered from mindsets. You need revelation to function in God’s kingdom, as it is a supernatural kingdom. That kingdom is the sovereign rule of God in the earth. Jesus had the anointing without measure, so everyone He touched was healed.

God’s Kingdom transcends time, space and matter because it is supernatural NB The example of Philip who after ministering to the eunuch was supernaturally transported to another place to minister. God is doing signs in these last days and when we remove sin from our lives, He will grant you the desires of your heart. God’s kingdom is expressed through the fruit of the spirit and the gifts of the Spirit. It is an unshakeable and unmovable kingdom. It is not just a kingdom of words but of power. It is a now kingdom meaning that God wants us healed now and blessed now.

The kingdom is beyond cause and effect because its laws are higher. So a person with a short leg can have that leg grow out with God’s touch. It is faith that moves the heart of God. If it were otherwise, there would be no starving people in the world as everyone would have what they want. However, it takes faith in God to have our needs met.

There are three dimensions of the kingdom’s presence:

1) It has a refreshing presence
2) It has a power presence where it breaks yokes
3) It has the glory presence where God shows that He is all powerful. Man has no power.

There are three realms of God: the kingdom, the power and the glory

Kingdom speaks to His ruler-ship

Power speaks to His ability

Glory speaks of His majesty
