Living According To Heaven Apostolic Convention Session 6
God expects us to make the right choices. Instructions are in the bible and our choices must be made in accordance with God’s will for us. We run into problems when we do not follow the instructions of the Holy Spirit. If you don’t walk according to how God wants, you are walking in sin.
God reassures us in Jeremiah 29 vs. 11 that He has plans for us, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.” Here are some of God’s instructions to us from Jeremiah 29:
- Jeremiah 29 vs. 5: “Build ye houses and dwell in them (settle down), and plan gardens and eat the fruit of them.”
- Jeremiah 29 vs. 6: “Take ye wives and beget sons and daughters; and take wives for your sons and give your daughters to husbands, that they bear sons and daughters and multiply ye there and be not diminished”.
- Jeremiah 29 vs 7: “And seek the peace of the city whither I have caused you to be carried away captive, and pray unto the Lord for it, for in the peace therefore shall ye have peace.”
- Jeremiah 29 vs. 8: “For thus saith the Lord, let not your prophets that are in the midst of you, and your diviners deceive you, neither hearken your dreams which ye cause to be dreamed”.
Be encouraged to move forward with these clear instructions from Jeremiah 29! Step out and move towards your destiny, the PLANS which God has for you. Through Jeremiah, God gave us a prophecy to live. Don’t be afraid to live! Don’t live because of the fear of what men say. Learn to live, learn to enjoy life and live life well according to the will of God. Listen to God’s prophecy for you, press in and receive all that is yours. Receive the supernatural move of God in your life and your finances, settle down. Prophesy to your mountains, press in. Pray when you are in need, pull things from your future into your present. Your prophecy and breakthrough is coming and the reason you were born is waiting to be birthed. Enough is enough!
Be very guarded of diviners, they will discourage you. Walk away from the false prophets and diviners in your life. They are not doing you any good. Dominate. David dominated. David refused to wear Saul’s armor, in fact he didn’t need it; God was in control of the fight. And so is the same with us; God is in control of our situation and He is about to elevate us. God will come through for us, God does NOT lie. Be encouraged and speak to yourself. You shall live and not die.
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters. 3 He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Psalm 23
God is about to set a table before our enemies. Our enemies will look but they will not find us. The angel of the Lord will show up for us. Don’t be afraid. Be bold. God will fight our battles. God is our strength and shield, the lifter of our heads. Ignore those thoughts of failure which come to discourage you and tell you things like “every time you take two steps forward, you take two steps backward”. Forget those times, look to the future. When we give our all to God, old things pass away. Everything becomes new. Step in to your freedom.
God has a plan for you. The Lord has gone ahead making the crooked paths straight for you, providing breaks, providing those opportunities of favor for when you need it. God came through for you in the past and He will come for you again. Joy comes in the morning.
