Many Teachers Few Fathers – Kevin Campbell

14 I do not write these things to shame you, but as my beloved children I warn you. 15 For though you might have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet you do not have many fathers; for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel. 1 Corinthians 4:14-15

There is a difference between fathers and instructors. A lot of people can tell us what we need to do and give advice but a few people stick around to see us through. Fathers are investors and they see the responsibility that they have. There are fathers that spread seed but don’t stick around to see the baby born. We have a father who is not just telling us what to do but is in for the long haul (Galatians 4:19). Apostle Holford is a good example of one who labours in birth until he sees the Christ in us. Good fathers who see destiny and purpose in us, not only charge us but comfort us in time of trouble and see us through a process (1 Thessalonians 2:11-12). A faithful father not only points us to himself but points us to God.

Many of us may not appreciate what labouring in the word and doctrine represents (1 Timothy 5:17). Labouring in the word is hearing from God, so that one can have a word for His people. There are battles over demons and principalities that our leaders have to fight through just to have a word released to God’s people. God is entrusting our leaders with the mysteries of heaven and their primary responsibility is to be faithful to God (1 Corinthians 4:1-4, Hebrews 13:7).

11 as you know how we exhorted, and comforted, and charged every one of you, as a father does his own children, 12 that you would walk worthy of God who calls you into His own kingdom and glory. 13 For this reason we also thank God without ceasing, because when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you welcomed it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which also effectively works in you who believe. 1 Thessalonians 2:11-13

The word effectively works in those who believe. Our responsibility is to follow the faith of the man of God. We need to keep track with the word that God has released to our leaders. Our leaders have to watch out for our souls and give account to God (Hebrews 13:17). We must obey and be submissive. Some of us are stuck because we are battling a beast called rebellion. We miss out on the destiny that God called us to because we do not follow instructions.

God has given Apostle the blue print for New Dimensions Ministries. As a wise master builder, God saw it fit to connect us into His vision and the building which is called New Dimensions Ministries, whose foundation is Christ. The supernatural word from God that works so effectively, flows from heaven through our leaders and through their victories, we are impacted.

17 Obey those who rule over you, and be submissive, for they watch out for your souls, as those who must give account. Let them do so with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for you. Hebrews 13:17
