Jesus is coming! We must like John and Paul, prepare the way in the deserts of men’s hearts. This should be our heart’s desire. We must have fire on the inside and we must fulfil purpose. Like Christ, we must be rooted and grounded in our identity. We must not be like headless chickens running around not knowing where we are going.
We must please God in every area of our lives. God is more interested in our hearts than our money. Our greatest gift to God must be to please Him and without faith we cannot please Him. Our hearts must be right with Him. Set your hearts on bringing pleasure to God. We must move into the place of intimacy to serve Him. True successful living is a heart that is set on pleasing him and a life that is gripped by the word of God. The people that are obedient to the Lord will be like the glory that is coming upon the earth. If we lose our life for His sake, we will gain it.
Our life in the kingdom is bigger than these four walls; it is bigger than this nation. The kingdom of God is greater than the world that we live in. We need to remove the small mind-sets. There are callings, gifts and graces for every believer. Before you get an assignment, there must be an alignment. We must purpose in our hearts that we will do everything that God has purposed for us to do.
God has prepared a place for us in the spiritual realm. Those who overcome will be displayed (Revelations 2 & 3). Let it be said about us that we gave up our lives so that Christ could live though us and be displayed. God works mightily with those who work with Him (Mark 16:20). We must declare that we are aligning ourselves with the great assignment of Jesus Christ.
The Lord is working with them and He is raising up a remnant in the earth. Say yes! God make me a part of that! What we profess must override our profession. It is better to obey God than man. We must arise and profess Christ.
People of purpose are characterized by vision not confusion or distraction. Vision is set on what we decide to do today. We must be masters of today before we can be masters of tomorrow. What we do here and now affects what becomes in the there and after. We cannot afford to be lukewarm. We do not want to be found sleeping when He arrives (Matthew 25:5). Do not enter in as a believer but as an overcomer, long to be where the action is, not on the periphery. Don’t be a spectator! We have to break the distractions and get in alignment with our assignment.
Don’t check out early, you have an assignment (Acts 27-28). Be happy about the test and run to the testimony. Be focused on today, be in the now and incline your ear to hear. Arise early, awaken the dawn and seek the Lord (Isaiah 26:9).
