For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God. Romans 8:19 (NKJV)

All creation is desperately crying for us to be revealed as sons in the earth. Many of us are living on the earth but showing our true identity as sons. We are saved and have remained in the shadows despite the earnest expectation of creation. There are many people who will not get into position unless we, the sons manifest. There are situations in families, environments and communities that can never be changed unless we the sons of God arise and manifest. The destinies of people and nations are attached to ours and until we know who we are, we will never be the delight of heaven. We can never be the answer to the earth unless we manifest, that is why we have to let the revelation of who we are as sons resonate in our minds and spirit. We ask God to be glorified in us but this can only happen when we manifest. When we say “God, be glorified in us”, is when we can change darkness and turn it into light.

What does it mean to manifest? To manifest means to appear as sons being visible and noticeable and to reveal the true identity of sonship in the light of God’s character demonstrating His power, glory, fire, and wisdom. A manifestation is a revelation of what is true. When people ask who we are, we say we are Christians but we need to elevate and say we are sons of the Most High. When we recognize that we are sons, everything that we need for life is given to us. Whatever we go through, is working in us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory (2 Corinthians 4:17).

When we consider ourselves as sons, our whole lives will be transformed. When we say we are Christians and believers, we remain fast followers of Christ and live out the truth of His Word. Sonship is not something that we do but something that we become. As sons, we become the seed which carries the DNA of Christ. When we receive Jesus Christ, we become sons and joint-heirs with Him. There are three categories of sons. These include the created son (Adam), the divinity son (Jesus Christ) and the adopted son (Galatians 4:4-7). We are no longer slaves but sons of God and heirs through the death of Jesus Christ. Jesus, the only begotten Son was confirmed as the Son of God during His baptism. God declared that “this is my Son in whom I am well pleased.” The most painful experience Jesus had was not the cross, whips, beatings or mockery. He felt the deepest pain when He was disconnected from His Father as He took on the sin of the world. Many of us are living as prodigal sons. We are disconnected from the Father. Our relationship with Him has been severed.

Sonship gives us the power and the authority to function in the earth like Jesus. God wants to proud of us. Many of us are still living with a mentality of slavery and therefore, have not accepted the truth of being a son. Living contrary to the Word of God and the Holy Spirit indicates that we are sons of disobedience (Ephesians 2:1-2).

We can look at the life of Jesus and how He walked. Jesus walked with wisdom and had a plan for everything that He did (John 6:5-14). He did not focus on the limited food that was there but He focussed on the realm of the unlimited. Sons do not look at the situation but look to the Father and believes for the supernatural. Sons know where their resources are (Matthew 17:24-27). Our resources come from God where there are no limitations. We may have bills to pay but we must recognize that we are sons and these things are small. We have power and authority. We have access to the throne of God.

We must become Christ in the earth, glorious and triumphant because we are sons and partakers of the divine nature of God. We are to conquer the enemy and rule nations. When we manifest like Jesus, our gender will not matter because we become testimonies and instruments of God. Now is the time to arise in the calling of a son. It is time to make a shift.
