The Power Of A Transformed Life Part 11

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Romans 12:1-2 (NKJV)

Transformation gives us a fresh expectation of something great. Our minds are first transformed and then we transformed on the outside. What is the original blueprint for our lives? What is God looking for from us? Having a transformed life is based on bringing God pleasure (Revelations 4:11). It brings a clear understanding of our divine purpose which is to bring pleasure (Philippians 2:13). We must ask ourselves, ‘what is my spiritual status?’ Am I spiritually married, separated or divorce? God wants to have a living and an intimate relationship with us. His focus is to bring us back to our original purpose and intent on the earth.

God accepts worship when we are in a living relationship with Him. We need a revelation of who He is. Are we doing things as a ritual or a religious practice? The question must be, ‘are we doing it out of a place of intimacy with Jesus Christ?’ The same relationship that God has with Jesus, He wants with us.

When we see each other, we should see Jesus. God is making a demand in the earth to make room for the bride of Christ. He is placing a demand on the church to love the bride of Christ. Through transformation, God is manifested through us. We are giving the opportunity to demonstrate His passion, love, emotions, power and fire to others. From the beginning of time, God had a plan for His people. He wants to give revelation to those who are in a relationship with Him. We are the bride of Christ. We need to know who we are.

Eve came from the side of Adam. Jesus was pierced in His side for us and through His sacrifice, we became His bride. Woman is more than a gender. She is a mystery because she is a symbol of the bride of Christ. When God created woman, it was a symbol of His plan on heaven for His bride. We cannot take our spiritual birth likely. We came from a holy place in Jesus and this makes us holy. It is from the holy and righteous place that our lives are transformed. What our spiritual status is, will determine if we live a transformed life. Being transformed is the key to the nations. In a transformed life, there is peace, healing, joy, freedom and hope.

31 “For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.” 32 This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church. Ephesians 5:31-32 (NKJV)

In Ephesians 5, Paul was referring to Christ and the church. In the Jewish culture, a man would leave his home to look for a wife. He would pay the price to marry his bride. When proposing to the chosen woman, he presented a cup with drink and if the woman took the cup and drank, she accepted the wedding proposal. Jesus left the home of His Father and came to earth to purchase His bride for a price. On the sixth day, God created Eve from the rib of Adam (Genesis 2:18-25). God is waiting for the sixth day to present the bride to the King.

Jesus will marry only one bride and that is the church. He is asking us to be faithful to Him. We cannot be faithful to Him and still desire other things. We can’t give ourselves to idols. Jesus is proposing to us. He is giving us the cup of proposal, the cup of His blood (Matthew 26:27-29). When we take communion, we are reminded of the covenant that Jesus has made with us. He has promised to be with us, to provide for us and to give us life. Every situation is turning around for our good because we are the bride of Christ.
