Advancing In These Crucial Times – Prophet Dwayne Howard

God has prophesied concerning the atmosphere of the world and the church at this time. The testimony of Jesus Christ is the spirit of prophecy. This is the greatest time ever to pray the lifestyle of Jesus. There is no greater time for the church to make such a declaration. Jesus paid it all to enable us to live the way that He lived. We have to walk like Him. God wants to see a people, an army arising in the grace that has been provided to them. His grace is sufficient for us. It is sufficient for us to walk like Jesus walked. We have to flush away ourselves so that God can be the only consuming flame in our bodies.

God wants us to advance. Sometimes we are too busy standing still but the call of God is to act. The church is a part of everything that is happening in the earth. The beloved needs to arise knowing that their light has come (Isaiah 60:1). Our light has come; the spirit of revelation has come. It should be our prayer that our internal wiring would be aligned to heaven’s design. Everything that is contrary would die.

We aren’t a stick in the mud. It is not enough to get settled and be satisfied in the mud. We have to take action and live out the realities within the bible. We have to get up and start shifting things. It is time to shift off the depression. It is time to sink our teeth deep into the things of the Spirit. God doesn’t want us to be unstable; He wants us to be enlightened. There is a church that is arising with a desire that would ring that all will hear it. It is the desire of the Son, to lay any and everything to be just like Him.

There are things that we are getting excited about but they will crumble (Matthew 24:1-28). Even the things that we think are in the will of God. There is a sculpture that God is bringing with Him from heaven that we do not know. There is temple from God that will come to the earth and all of us will be enlightened. Jesus was telling the disciples to not get too accustomed because these things will fall apart. Whenever God is releasing a new thing, there is always a sword that pierces our spirit and heart. If you are getting comfortable in this season, there is a shift that is coming that is already on you. It is going to feel a bit uncomfortable but that’s ok because He offends the mind to reveal the heart.

Matthew 24:28 says that ‘For wherever the carcass is, there the eagles will be gathered together’. This is the most important thing said. Out of the things that Jesus told us that wherever the eagles find their food, they find life so too us the church, we must find ourselves in the place of discernment. We must be connected to the things that will sustain us in this life. Within the Word, there is direction to help us to discern who we are to be in these times.

In these crucial times, God spoke about people being offended. He was talking to us. Some of us will get offended. Many will be offended because they do not understand the battle plan. God wants us to know the battle plan. We are kings and we have spiritual authority to unlock the judgement for the enemy. God sits on a throne that is founded on righteousness and justice. God reveals so that we can counteract what is happening. There are other times where we can be prepared and made ready. We, the church need to come under the grip of God and find ourselves in the right position.

Jesus is the one who opened up the seals in Revelations 6 which means that He is in total control. If we are going to advance, we have to:
– wake up
– get into alignment
– find our assignment
– abide in the presence of the Lord

John was revealed as the person that Jesus loved. He was a man who understood that He was loved deeply by God and he loved God back. John was one who clung to Jesus. This was because of how he perceived God and how he perceived himself in the eyes of God. John was consumed by Jesus. When we get consumed by Jesus and He becomes our gaze and the center of our life, there is a dimension of heaven that is opened to us and we see God. We need the gospel to hit our spirits again where we are totally consumed by Jesus. We have to get our minds filled with God. We have to get caught up in the fellowship of the Trinity. It was not only for Abraham but for every believer.

In Revelations 6:1, there was a level of insight that John had not seen from where he was. It is not enough to just have our eyes opened to see but the Lord wants us sharp like an arrow. He wants us to get it. There is much more to see. The Lord is not making sport concerning our position in this season. He is calling us into alignment. God is speaking a little bit sternly to His children because the enemy is coming to take us off track.

‘Come’ in the Greek means to change your position. Like Peter, we have to come and say yes and step unto the water. The Lord is saying to coming out of the place of comfort and He is telling us to get into position. ‘Come and see’ is repeated to John four times in Revelations 6. We can’t stay stagnant in this season. When God says to move, we need to move. We need to be where God is. The number four speaks of the demarcation and the changing of seasons and times. In this season that we are in, if we are advancing, we have to know the season. It’s about to go down in the earth and we need to get into position.

The church has an open door to cancel the plans of the enemy. The church has incredible authority but we do not know it because we can’t see and we are not in position. More than ever before, we need alignment. We need to know that the season is changing. We can’t put on the same garment in winter as in summer. Winter is coming!! We can’t just walk around in winter anyhow, we have to be prepared. Are our storehouses ready? Are we ready for winter? Am I ready for winter? When it is all going down, will I stand or forfeit?

The Lord has broken the veil over the west. She shall arise in beauty and be a burning lamp but it is a season where she will be exposed. It is a season of trials and tribulations.

We have to trash our idols if we want to be in the army. We have to get rid of ourselves. We are our biggest idols. It is time to put away childish things; it is time to get on the threshing floor. No longer can we tolerate idolatry, we have to be consumed with Jesus. The master says whatever it takes. God will be our only sustainer and the stability of our times. We have to trust Him. We have to trust the process. God will test every one of us. We have to measure our hearts. We cannot measure ourselves by the small tiny material things of this world. We have to come into alignment. We have to set some things in order. We can’t run into an assignment with idols, we will fail. We need to get rid of the idols; we need to move them out. What is the Lord saying to move? What is the Lord saying to do?

In the battle plan, there is action not only from God or the angels but also from all the saints (Revelations 8:1-6). We have been made to sit in heavenly places and to operate how Jesus operates. Jesus is on the throne interceding on our behalf. He does not pray His will but the will of the Father. God is calling us to a place of greater intercession. We should be more specific in our prayers. We have to escape general living and rise up to a place of specifics where we speak and pray the mind of Christ. We must understand our assignment which is to get into the place of prayer. We must have a motivation on the inside of us to hasten the return of Jesus Christ. Jesus is yearning to return. He desires that we would love Him the way that He loves us. God give us a passion for You.

When we advance in these crucial times, we must never forget to abide. For the entire month of October, let us read Psalms 91 everyday. We have to abide in the presence of God. True abiding is where we are obedient in every area of our lives. God is worthy of our obedience and our sacrifice. We will not fall into any snare, if we abide. We will only fall into the things that God has for us. We have to abide in the blood of the Lamb. The Lord will protect us in the mist of our persecution. He will be our shield and butler.
