Passion for Jesus Saturday Evening Session
The church does not need to be conformed to the trendy nature of the world. The church needs to walk in the power of God. God is looking for people who will be obedient and willing to Him. We are not perfect but this does not mean that God will not use us. God wants to use us outside of the four walls of the church. It’s time to arise and go out. There’s power and authority on the inside of us through the Holy Spirit. We do not naturally have what it takes but we just have to say yes.
The Holy Spirit speaks to us in a way that we understand. God is calling us to go out and reach the world, to step out of our comfort zone. We have to take ownership and step out. There is a war going on because the devil doesn’t want us to advance. We can’t live this Christian life with doubt. Our lives must be radical for Jesus Christ. There is an anointing upon our lives that people are waiting for. All creation groans and waits for the manifestation of the sons of God.
We live a life of assumption rather than intimacy. We assume negative things about people and ourselves. We believe the lies of the enemy and then begin to live them out. There is power in our lives. We have the Holy Spirit. We cannot say that we are not qualified. We can’t say that we don’t have what it takes. The nations need what Barbados has. We need to be proud of who God has made us to be.
God will speak to you in a still small voice. He gives us small things that we need to appreciate and not despise. God uses broken people to be His vessels and forerunners within the earth. The Holy Spirit will heal us from all of our hurts and scars. Barbados needs our faith. People need to hear our testimonies. It is not about us. It is about them. We are afraid of the miraculous but God has given us the authority. Miracles are a part of Jesus’ nature. Jesus said that greater things we will do (John 14:12). God uses us to reach people. We can’t sit upon our anointing. We are it.
Compassion is the prerequisite for the miraculous (Matthew 9:36-38). Jesus had compassion on the people and He healed them.
