There must be order in God’s house. Take stock of your appearance, of your perception of the vision and visionaries of this house. If not, there will be those so self-opinionated that even God cannot change them.
“They run like mighty men, they climb the wall like men of war; every one marches in formation, and they do not break ranks.” Joel 2:7 (NKJV)
As a leader, you must never be afraid of the people you lead whether you are a youth pastor or a choir master. If you are afraid of them, you will follow and they will lead.
We are kingdom people and need to think that way. Blacks in the Caribbean do not like to support their own, which is why people from Syria, Pakistan and so on have come here and owned things that we should own. We support them, but not our own. Historically, this started when the Africans sold their own black people of other tribes to slave traders.
Witch craft comes from the Old English word “wicker craft.” Pastors have died of heart attacks in the pulpit because their people refused to obey them and stressed them out. Religion forces many people to judge others. For example, a person may look on another as being too emotional when they worship. Religion has made us go to the letter of the law and forget that Jesus has a spirit of interpretation.
Married people are to submit to each other. The Word says so, but men tend to see only the verse “wives submit yourselves to your husbands.” When the scripture tells women to submit, the authority lies in the woman’s hand to submit. Religion is known for misinterpreting truth and twisting it to suit one’s own way of living. That is why women struggle with submission because it is thrown at them as a horrible command.
The onus of submission is more on the man. There is a tendency to resist any leader who assumes the role of “Daddy” and this is a mindset that comes down from slavery where after the end of the slave trade in 1807, slave owners used men as studs to sire children (to work as slaves) for whom those slave men would never assume responsibility, for they too were slaves.
A woman marries a man to support him and build him up to go where he should go. Any person who pastors you is your father. Jesus set things in order, thereby destroying religion. When He went into the temple, He put things in order. God cares about how we dress in the church and whether we put on tattoos or not.
“Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, 25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.” Hebrews 10:22-25 (NKJV)
The leaders of this ministry will not go astray and God will not let dust settle on them. And because we are a part of their ministry, we will not go astray either.
