God is about to show up big time in our lives! He is looking for vessels that would not hold back. It is a restructuring of the foundation, it is time for a “letting go” of what has been and “allowing” what will be to take place. The kingdom of darkness is releasing things on this earth which have never been released before and we need to take territory! Do it with the boldness and authority which has been given to us. God is about to do something in the atmosphere, a something like never before (Isaiah 43:6). We are about to step into a new dimension like never before.
1 After the death of Moses the servant of the Lord, it came to pass that the Lord spoke to Joshua the son of Nun, Moses’ assistant, saying: 2 “Moses My servant is dead. Now therefore, arise, go over this Jordan, you and all this people, to the land which I am giving to them—the children of Israel. 3 Every place that the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you, as I said to Moses. 4 From the wilderness and this Lebanon as far as the great river, the River Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and to the Great Sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your territory.
5 No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life; as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you nor forsake you. 6 Be strong and of good courage, for to this people you shall divide as an inheritance the land which I swore to their fathers to give them. 7 Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go. 8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Joshua 1:1-8 (NKJV)
The baton has been passed on to us and we have a new assignment handed to us, which is to, “take territory!” God has given us clear instructions to do things His way and we will see success (Joshua 1:9).
Are you ready to take your position? Take your territory? It is time for God’s army to arise! God is looking for people who are willing to move and take action and He has given us clear instructions. The enemy has tried to confuse us by releasing a spirit of discouragement; you may be reflecting on the past year with disappointment possibly on how you handled things and may even wonder if you could have done things differently? But halt, God is saying to you to let go of the past and embrace what is about to happen in your life! In life, there are some seasons we just have to go through, but now move forward, don’t hesitate, God has got your back. Persecution is there for you to break out of the box, not get comfortable, and so get out of your comfort zone. Prophetic words that are released into the atmosphere have a purpose and a destiny, so embrace the Prophetic Words released over your life and take action towards their fulfillment.
God’s Word has prepared the way for us. They are guidelines for us to live by. When God spoke to Joshua, He commanded Joshua. It is important for us to understand God’s commandments in this season. It is not an “about me” season. God said to Joshua, it is time to move forward. God may be about to send you into a territory where there are giants, but tell yourself ‘I am ready, I am well able”. Just like David, you too can slay a giant! Step out in this 50th year into that which is to be, and let it happen!
The pathway:
- Let go of the fleshly mindset, God is after sanctification. Cut yourself loose. There is a battle between flesh and spirit; flesh will war, but we have to know the difference. Anything you have been experiencing before this year which is not of God, simply let it go, let go of the Egyptian mindset.
- Open up your spiritual eyes to Lord! Heaven is on a path to revealing to you things which have not been seen on earth. The whole aim of what is currently being seen on earth is to bring fear so God’s people will not want to arise. The enemy’s strategy is to deposit fear within us. Fear cripples a person from fulfilling their destiny. However, God has not given us a spirit of fear (1 Timothy 1:7).
- Align yourself with the voice of God. Faith does not deny facts, it just overrides it. Faith aligns with the Word of God. Things may not look or feel good right now in your life, but it does not mean what you are praying for and about will not come to pass. God does not lie. If He said He is going to do something, He will do it! Sometimes He will stretch us, almost to the point of pain, but breakthroughs do come. God’s word does not return void. Be encouraged, wait on the Lord, and don’t push to make things happen in your time. Do not mess with God’s timing, especially in this year of Jubilee. If God is calling you to do something and has been impressing upon your heart to move in a particular area, do what God has spoken.
- Loose thy shoe from off thy feet. To access God’s spiritual agenda, we must let go and lay everything down. Take off the pride and move! God gives grace to the humble. Humility is not being foolish, it means that you have things under control and that you know the process you must take; in other words, doing things “God’s way”.
- Walk in obedience. Working the Word, doing what it says and not how you feel.
- Be careful of what you declare. Be very careful of what you say with your mouth! A true prophetic word comes as a result of tapping into the Word of God. Don’t be led by information just given to you by anyone, it must be led by God. Words can produce fear and cause people to retract, so be vigilant.
- Understand when a season has ended. What happens when a soldier does not accept his training seriously? Simple, he is the first one down on the battlefield. Know when to fight and when to stand still (Hebrews 10:6).
- Move when heaven is ready for you to move. Timing is key to a breakthrough. It is important for you to understand God’s timing. If you move before God’s time, the breakthrough can be aborted and you may find yourself in a place of destruction and confusion, a place where there is possibly no second chance. So move only when heaven is moving. We are supernatural beings and miracles, signs and wonders follow us! Let it be said that we are a people with integrity, continue to be hungry for God. Press in, don’t be comfortable with where we are. God is saying to us to go after Him with everything that is in us!
