Today is the day of Pentecost and God wants to pour out Himself in this place. The Holy Spirit has already given but He wants to pour out more upon us. He wants to do something new in our lives.
Today is a significant day, 24th May. The number eight symbolizes new beginnings in Hebrew numerology. There are three cycles of eight when you divide it into twenty four. Three speaks of completion and perfection. When Isaiah saw the Lord, he said holy, holy, holy (Isaiah 6:3). This speaks of the importance and the degree of God’s holiness.
On this day 24th May, God is doing a new thing. God said He is doing a perfect thing which is new and fresh. There will be a shift that will take place in our lives and those who go after Him, will see it. Something has shifted in the atmosphere because I have come and shifted seasons for you. I am bringing a perfect move in your lives that will last for years says the Lord. The Lord said if you stay true to Me, nothing or no one will stop it. It is a perfect season for the church. What is happening is a thing of God but it also comes with the cooperation of His people who trust Him and who contend in prayer. Those things that we contend for in the past and that were spoken over our lives, will come forth.
Also the burnt offerings were in abundance, with the fat of the peace offerings and with the drink offerings for every burnt offering. So the service of the house of the Lord was set in order. Then Hezekiah and all the people rejoiced that God had prepared the people, since the events took place so suddenly. 2 Chronicles 29:35:36
“I have declared the former things from the beginning; they went forth from My mouth, and I caused them to hear it. Suddenly I did them, and they came to pass. Isaiah 48:3
This day is a ‘suddenly’ in the calendar of New Dimensions. When God does something suddenly, it isn’t that you are not prepared or that you are not expecting Him, it is just that you are not expecting it the way that He will do it. When God moves suddenly, a sound is release from heaven and heaven acts on our behalf.
When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. Acts 2:1-4
